Check the device clock first
Set your device to the correct local time zone and confirm the date and time. A wrong device clock can make guide entries look incorrect before the feed itself is considered. Do not apply a second player offset just to compensate for an incorrect system setting.
Check which regional channel you opened
A regional source can follow a different schedule from the feed you expected. Compare the channel label and programme with the guide. Viewers in different Australian regions should not assume every feed follows their local schedule.
Refresh before changing an offset
Use the player’s guide refresh option and reopen the channel. If a consistent offset remains, record it and ask support whether the source is timed differently. Change one setting at a time and keep a note of its previous value so you can undo the adjustment.
Catch-up is a separate check
Correct guide entries do not mean a replay is available. The source and player must support catch-up, and the replay window varies. Test one past programme that is explicitly offered rather than treating the entire guide as an archive.
