Identify Tizen, webOS or another platform
Look up the television model and installed operating system. Samsung and LG television app stores differ from Android’s. Do not assume our Android player can be installed directly just because the television is described as smart.
Evaluate a native player
A compatible app available in your region may be convenient because you keep one remote. Check the login format, guide, subtitles and any separate player licence fee. Confirm what the app’s own trial covers; an app licence does not include our subscription.
Consider a compatible external device
An Android or Google TV device can provide another player option through HDMI. It introduces separate hardware and another setup step, so check compatibility before purchasing. We do not require one particular hardware brand or promise every device will work.
Test the things you use daily
Try channel switching, remote navigation, sound and subtitle selection. Check the television input and audio settings when sound is missing. Share your exact model and app with support so the answer matches your setup rather than a generic television brand.
