One connection can suit one viewer
You might have a phone, television and tablet but use only one at a time. Stop the stream on the first device before opening another. An app left playing in the background can still occupy an active connection.
Two viewers may need two connections
If one person watches footy while another plays a film, that is two simultaneous streams. The number of screens needed comes from actual viewing overlap, not the size of the television or whether both devices are on the same Wi-Fi.
Build a normal-evening example
List who watches at the busiest time and on which devices. Choose the corresponding one-to-five connection tier and check the full-term total. Your internet connection and device capability still matter when several streams run together.
A connection limit is not an app licence
Some third-party players have their own licence conditions. Buying another player licence does not automatically add a subscription connection. If you need to change an existing plan, contact the team with your reference before purchasing a replacement.
